It is our sincere hope that you will enjoy your stay with us.
We will try to make you as comfortable as possible in our home
and we want you to feel relaxed during your stay. Please
feel free to ask us if you need additional assistance or have
special dietary requirements.
Chris and Annette moved here from Las Vegas, Nevada in
March 2005. After eight years we had enough of the glitz
and glamour of Las Vegas. Chris has a family cottage since
1945 on Washington Island, where last summer we vacationed for
two weeks. After the two weeks we just didn't want to
return to Las Vegas. As we were traveling from Washington
Island back to Chicago the trip through Door County just made us
love this area so much we decided to move to Wisconsin.
After much searching we decided that Kewaunee was a lovely place
to begin the bed-n-breakfast. We were fortunate to find
the Duvall House for sale and began our plans to move to the
Midwest. This house is a beautiful place and we have
enjoyed our short time that we have been here. We have
thoroughly enjoyed working outside in the gardens.
In our previous lives Chris was a former police officer in
Estes Park, Colorado. He also owned a Commercial Laundry
business in Estes Park, for 18 years, before moving to
Las Vegas. Annette owned here own bookkeeping and three
dog grooming shops in North Branford, Connecticut and after 18
years decided to move to Las Vegas.
Come meet Oscar, a very friendly 3 year old American
Eskimo pure-bred dog. Upon entering he may bark to
announce your arrival, but pet him and he will love you.
