The "Victorian Parlor" which is off to the left of the entry way is
furnished with a wonderful tapestry set highlighted with cherry stain
carvings. The bay window on the east side of the room gives lots
of warm sunlight to this room. On the mantel of the original
fireplace sets an 1899 clock and candelabra. To the right of
the fireplace is a gold framed picture of Minnie Duvall, Joseph's second
wife. Thru the far door you enter the sunroom where you might
choose to have your refreshments in the morning and watch the birds on
the lawn. A collection of bird watching books can be found in the
room.
